Another excellent game from Tenshi Noir
Love Battle Princess was a game that completely took me by surprise. On the surface, it looked like another simple "puzzle" game except with some scantily-clad female characters added in. Instead, what I got was an A+ quality game that kept me hooked for a LONG time. However, the developers knew that they were taking a risk by targeting a 17+ male audience, so they announced a more "family-friendly" version of Love Battle Princess sometime later, and this game is the result.
Subsolar keeps the addicting "flower-catching" mechanic and adapts it to a futuristic theme (photons and antimatter). As rewards for all of your efforts, you unlock stunning (Retina compatible!) wallpapers made by Flowermilk. If you're expecting something completely different from Love Battle Princess, you won't find it here. However, if you were curious about the original but was put off by the artwork in the other game, this is definitely worth a buy.
